As part of the strategy to facilitate engagement in the RCPAR’s regional programming and strengthen the interaction within the network, all Network Members were invited to participate in a three-day workshop in the period 2 June  – 6 June  in Turin, Italy. The training took place in the premises of the International Training Centre of the International Labor Organization.

The main topics covered during the training were the following:

• a general introduction to the RCPAR;
• review and practical application of the RCPAR guidelines for multi-country proposals, with examples of actual proposals generated by network members;
• presentation of the RCPAR workspace, including live demonstration and online interaction;
• virtual co-operation, communication, teambuilding and networking.

All sessions were a combination of brief presentations, plenary discussions, group exercises, and small group task-oriented interaction, and the RCPAR drew on the expertise and resources of external facilitators and own staff. All participants received a diploma issued by the ICT/ILO at the end of the training.
