The Advisory Board provides strategic recommendation and substantive support and guidance on the programmatic framework, general direction and programme impact, in order to enhance the RCPAR’s effectiveness. The Advisory Board consists of up to 15 members, nominated for a period of five years. The members are internationally recognised scholars and practitioners on public administration reform, ensuring wide thematic and geographic representation. The Board reviews strategy papers, assists in the review and selection of demand-driven multi-country project proposals, advises on priorities for public administration reform in the region, and promotes the development of new partnerships.
The members participate in the Advisory Board in their personal capacity and not as members of the organisations they belong to. The members of Board devote their time, resources and expertise to the RCPAR on a voluntary basis, and they receive no financial compensation whatsoever.
