The 6th Annual Conference of the WeBa HRM CoP will take place in ReSPA premises (Danilovgrad, Montenegro) on 26-27 October 2011
RCPAR sponsored six members of the Network of Focal Points to attend the 5th International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance taking place in Tallinn, Estonia on 26-28 September 2011.
During the Resource Group meeting it was decided that the topic for this year's research and theme for the annual conference will deal with competencies needed in performance appraisal, training and career development of civil servants in the region.
The 6th Resource Group meeting of the Western Balkans Human Resources Management Community of Practitioners will take place in Zagreb, Croatia.
The mid-term evaluation was carried out by a single independent expert in the period mid-October to December 2010. The assignment entailed a desk review of project documentation, as well as three site visits with a view to holding extensive in-depth consultations with the members of the project team and its stakeholders. RCPAR network members and representatives of partner organisations were also consulted during the exercise, which resulted in the attached report.
RCPAR Focal Point, the Higher School of Economics, in co-operation with the Russian Federation Ministry of Economic Development, the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, and the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management will hold a conference in Moscow June 27-29, 2011. UNDP Goodwill Ambassadors Ronaldo and Zidane announced that the 8th Annual Match Against Poverty will take place this year at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus, Greece on Tuesday 14 December at 9:15 pm.
The conference “Research & Politics – planning and implementation of policy at the national and international levels in the current economic crisis” was organised by the University of Crete on 29-30 November, with prominent speakers from the Greek Government, political parties and leading think-tanks in the country. The RCPAR team leader participated as moderator and presenter.
The inauguration ceremony of the Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA) in Danilovgrad, Montenegro was held at 11 November.
In co-operation with the Regional School of Public Administration and the European Institute of Public Administration, RCPAR invites applications for 5th Annual Conference of the Western Balkans HRM CoP.
